Lenze Americas (Uxbridge, MA) has unveiled its g700 series of planetary gearboxes designed
for servo applications with demanding requirements relative to overload capacity and
dynamics. Designed specifically for servo application, the one-, two-and three-stage planetary gearboxes are available in five sizes and
cover torques ranging from 177i n-lbs to 7080 in-lbs. Features include:
• A special handling of the toothing edge, which includes
grinding and honing, and the precise, balanced clamping
system for the motor, which help to minimize the noise
generation. As a result, a noise of =58 dB(A) is achievable
which corresponds to a quiet conversation.
• Robustness and reliability, achieving a service life of 30.000h.
• No required lubricant change or top
up; completely maintenance-free.
Ericson Manufacturing (Willoughby,
OH) introduced the Oscar mini-e
Temporary Power Distribution (PDU)
Center. Ericson’s mini-e PDU extends
the capabilities of the popular Oscar
family by providing configuration
alternatives that address maintenance applications requiring high
quality, safe temporary power where
scalable current and power handling
capabilities are valued. The mini-e is
built rugged enough to survive the
harshest jobsite environments with
a standard platform constructed of
heavy-duty welded steel, offering the
ability to meet unique application
requirements without the cost typically associated with custom solutions.
Designed for simplified plug-n-play
use, the Ericson “system” of Oscar
PDU’s requires minimal setup and
teardown activity, saving valuable
time and associated expense.
