Greenlee®/ a Textron Company (Rockford, IL) has redesigned bending shoes for the 555®
“triple nickel” line of electric conduit benders, allowing users to bend 1/2” to 2” of the same
conduit type on the same shoe. This reduces changeovers and allows customers to save
time and money on the jobsite. With the new shoes, conduit size is now selected by rotating
the shoe — no longer requiring a changeover for different sizes. This reduced handling of
heavy shoes also lessens the risk of ergonomic injuries when swapping shoes on the
jobsite. New shoes are compatible with all current-line 555 benders (555C, 555CX,
and 555DX) and are available for Rigid/IMC, EMT, and PVC-Coated conduit.
Energy Chain Cable Carrier
igus (East Providence, RI) recently unveiled E4-1, one of its newest
Energy Chain cable carriers, during Pack Expo in Las Vegas, NV.
E4-1 combines the features and benefits of its three predecessors
in the E4 cable carrier range, including low noise, ruggedness, and
modularity, says the company. E4-1 is ideal for a wide range of
industrial applications such as cranes, machine tools, construction
machinery, and robotic handling systems. Features include:

The L4N1 Thru-Bolt™ ratchet wrench from Reed Manufacturing Company (Erie, PA) features four sockets on one wrench in a pop-
ular dog bone configuration. The sockets (1-1/4”, 1-1/8”, 1-1/16”, and 15/16”) are designed to stay on the handle, meaning no loose
sockets, and the L4N1 offers rugged construction of its smooth
grip handle with a forward/reverse lever. According to Reed, this
wrench replaces the need for multiple wrenches and sockets —
